  Tesco Extra in Leyland I use and have been using nearly every day and also calling into the cafe for the last couple of years. The store is ok and the cafe very good. What I do have a problem is with the Gents toilets. They must be the worst big store toilets in the Leyland area. For the past 12 months or so, they were always problems with urinals over flowing and water seeping out from behind the panels. This led to continuous closing with signs on the door. Therefore queues of males are waiting to get into the one disability toilet. The floor was very badly stained in the Gents and eventually a new floor covering was put down. Unfortunately, the leaking problems were never sorted and it was put on top of the dank water and I was also told the women,s toilets smelt terrible. The Gents toilets have now been shut about a month, with a sign on the door and apologising again ,saying they are trying to sort the problem out ASAP. WHAT A JOKE After getting in touch with Tesco Customer Services about this, the excuse from the the Duty Manager said the reasons the toilets are not been repaired is because they are vandalised EVERY SINGLE DAY and do not want to flood the store. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE LOAD OF NONSENSE. They just stick a notice on the door apologising. Nobody is bothered about customer care in Leyland Tesco Extra, nothing ever gets sorted. They do not appear to have a maintenance department capable of sorting out a plumbing problem. I have seen better maintained toilets in rundown pubs!!!
